Isolation Transformers for Power Line Communication

Powerline Communication allows to build bidirectional communications and control paths coupled on the electricity grid. As battery energy storage systems become very popular, Battery Management Systems (BMS) coupled on the DC-voltage grid can be found in modern green-powered smart homes, solar systems, electric vehicles or even data center back-up systems. But these large battery pack applications with multiple sub-cells in parallel or series require galvanic isolation of the Powerline communication and control path.
ELYTONE offers isolation transformers for Powerline systems combined with best EMI noise rejection. Transformers YT-62795 and YT62796 offer AEC-Q200 qualification to meet automotive applications but can also be used in consumer applications for inhouse Powerline communication gateways and systems.
