RTQ7882-QT – RICHTEK’s USB Type-C PD for Automotive USB Charging Applications

The RTQ7882-QT manufactured by Richtek is offering customers a fully integraded PD charger IC for automotive grade applications (also available for non-automotive applications). By reducing applications’ complexity (less external passive components) it can help cutting down on your time to market greatly.
The RTQ7882-QT supports charging rates up to 100W & offers charge management for dual port charger solutions.
Compared to traditional PD voltages, such as, 5V, 9V, 15V, and 20V – PPS (Programmable Power Supply) – is now supported, offering a broader voltage range for your application.
Once deployed, the RTQ7882-QT can be updated in field via USB and system interface.
